This portrait was commissioned by an amazing collector who has not only had a portrait commissioned of their adorable dog, Charlotte, but has already purchased a matching frame for a future portrait of their baby-on-the-way! Obviously, this little boy was such a great subject to draw - from his hair which was so beautifully lit and that cheeky smile, right down to the weave on his rich, burgundy sweater, I loved creating this piece as a surprise Father’s Day gift. His parents are wonderful people and true lovers and supporters of the arts.
