This commissioned drawing of Penny the boxer was one of my favorite pet portrait, graphite drawings I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing. The personality on her face, the giant lips and teeth and tongue, the perfect nose…she was so much more than just fur! Her owner is an amazing woman and she commissioned this portrait for her husband. Sadly, this was a memorial portrait of Penny, but I hope that with this drawing they’ll be reminded of her whenever they pass by it hanging on their wall.
